Yes, at work. It is awesome... and studies have proven it makes you more productive. But once you go dual monitor... you will hate working on a single monitor.Comment

I have been using two monitors since 1993 when I first jumped on a Macintosh doing desktop publishing at work. All of those programs, (Quark, Photoshop,etc.) have lots of tool palettes. I disocvered how easy it was to hook up a second monitor by accident and started using it to house all of my tool palettes so that my main display would be complete workspace. As far as I know, I was the first to do it in my area and it caught on big time. As far as screen size, since my second display is for my tools, I always use a much smaller size. I use a 30 inch display for the main and a 19 inch for the tools. I guess if you are gaming it would be good to have them the same size or close.Comment
