I went last year, and it wasn't really my thing. As far as conventions go, this was a little too big and too expensive for me. Combined with the distance I had to travel, I probably won't be going again. The only Megos I saw were at Mark Huckabone's table, as well as a beat, incomplete Green Goblin for about $80 on some random table.
Hey! Where's the waiter with the water for my daughter?
well it saddens me that the MEGO selection will not only stink, but be over priced as well!!!...but it is an adventure I have always wanted to embark upon...Anyone else???

Well therein lies the problem - Hotels. Hotel registration opened last wednesday for Comic Con and has probably pretty much sold out by now. I've got my hotel reservation in place in case I go and I'm 3 miles away again this year at the Marina Sheraton. You might still be able to get a room there but it runs about 192 per night before good ol CA hotel tax kicks in. The good news is that there is a free shuttle bus that runs on the hour between the convention and the hotel. Last year there were only two stops on that route so you got back and forth fairly quickly. Check with Comic-Con 2008 :: What's New for hotel availability.
