Believe it or not, I started out as a Pontiac gal. When I was little, my mom had a GTO and our neighbors had a 1969 Firebird, which I fell in love with. When I was seventeen, I took my after-school job savings and bought a midnight green 1969 Firebird. I had it four months, when I stopped to close to a delivery truck at a traffic light. When the truck started up at the light change, a chain broke and six fifty-five gallon barrels dropped on the front of my car. Back then, parts were hard to come by, so we just sold the car,
After college when I started looking at fun cars again, a friend suggested that I consider Mustangs because there were so many catalogs of mods and after-market parts. I have owned Mustangs ever since. I currently have a 2001 and a 1970. I don't drive much anymore because of motion sickness, but when I am having a good day,..watch out!
Sadly, I married a Chevy guy, from a Chevy family. In later years, my FIL worked for GM. A few months ago, when we went new car shopping, I lost out on Ford Fusion to a Chevy Mailbu.
P.S. However, if someone gave me new Camero or Challenger, I wouldn't turn it down.
Ford, though, I am a fan of cars and trucks of all makes. Honestly, my thinking, even as I am typing this, is of vintage vehicles, not current models. I'm not really a big fan of any makers current models.
In Al Stewart's song "Time Passages" he sings "Well, I'm not the kind to live in the past..." ... Well, I am.
My first car was an 82 Trans Am and I have had 11 Firebirds/TA/Formulas also I have had 13 Mustangs /GT/Cobra. 5 Camaros, if I ever get a new Camaro I would buy the Firebird body kit they have out now. Right now I have a Jeep Wrangler and I have had 4 Jeep Cherokees. I really want another Firebird so I guess I'm more of a Pontiac guy since I have the Firebird Tattoo lol that should be in a redneck joke somewhere lol
Mopar since day one. My first car was a 69 Road Runner. And my 1999 Dodge Grand Caravan Sport with 247,000 miles on it will stomp your Chevy any day Mikey.
