My buddy made an INSANE flea market find yesterday.

We were shopping around the Antique Co-op in Painesville, Ohio when he spied what looked like some weird black rock to me, and got all excited. Turns out it was part of a jawbone to some prehistoric fish. (he's totally into fossils)
Anyway, the thing was $20 and turned out it's worth like a grand.

I found a picture like what he showed me it was...I circled the part in red. You see why I thought it was a rock. Turned out to have some kind of a catalog tag shellacked to the backside of it. He says it was from some fossil collection. I had no Idea fossils were so valuable. He told me that a complete one would cost like $100,000. Crazy.
