Heres footage. This one didnt even touch ground. I would hate to see what kind of damage the one thats getting close to the earth would do.

Yeah, I read about the one that's passing by today, earlier this week. Odd that Russia got hit in the same week!

The videos I've seen look like something out of a movie. Pretty scary and amazing at the same time.
                It's all good!

Perhaps I've watched too many movies but for officials to say that the meteor in Russia is not connected to the other asteroid is very odd to me. Again I'm no scientist but it just seems odd.

Dr. Michio Kaku was on CBS This Morning and said it doesn't seem to be connected. He said they back-tracked the trajectory and said it doesn't seem to come from it but he added it's always possible a swarm of meteors could accompany the asteroid. Also the asteroid Ida, discovered years ago, turned out to have it's own moon. So it could be that the smaller meteor was orbiting the larger asteroid but Earth's gravity captured it.

....and in Russian when the strange comet/object blew up....Leonid Konstantinovitch Kovar was given strange powers and RED STAR was born!

.....or if you'd like the real life version of that
