I agree that Half Time was Pretty Bad ...
I think the NFL Should re-think that Spot Light, and Focus more so on What Type of Music, and it's Groups that they Use During Game Time. For Sakes, Metallica Has Never Play'ed at the Event, Neither Has Huge NFL Fan Bon Jovi Amung others. I just think it's a Shame.

With Springsteen already playing the Super Bowl a few years ago, I can't imagine that Bon Jovi won't be asked to do it next year at Giant Stadium.

I hear about there should have been a holding call at the end. Nah,not really. You got the 49ers WR shoving the guy covering him in the helmet. So both penalties would have canceled each other out. Niners should be glad they didn't get a delay of game call. That was pretty close there.

I thought she was too. And even if that's not your type of music, she's still easy on the eye.

Glad the Ravens won it! They deserved it plain and simple.
The 49ers put up a good fight and yes I believe the power outage was a way to distract the Ravens cause a NON BANDWAGON team was winning and bookies in vegas and the nfl itself was ****ed. Thats my opinion and Im entitled to it.
Glad Ed Reed finally got a ring and Flacco shut down all the haters.
49ers will be a bad *** team and may be in it next year. Kap just needs more time but that's my opinion as well.
Anyway this is a glorious night for the RAVENS NATION!

Wow... What a game. I never would have believed the Ravens would at one point be up by 22 points. Unreal. You could see the fear in Kap's eyes. His inexperience was showing. BUT...the lights went out and that 49er team got time to recoup and get refocused. I also think that goal line stand was awesome. And that last pass was a great no call. The 49er's receiver initiated contact with a push off and the corner simply was trying to stay with him. So the idea of "contact" was a wash. Plus that pass was not even catchable. Kap was popped by a blitz and he just threw it up and it was too far out. It was the right call. The smartest thing the Ravens did (penalty-wise) is hold the defenders on the intentional safety. That was a HUGE miss by the refs and while the outcome still would have been a safety from the call, it would have put more time on the clock. So while the refs missed that, it was a great directive by the Raven's coach, because it was a low risk/high reward call and it worked. It kept the 49er offense off the field. I just see it as karma. The Ravens were mopping the field with the 49ers and fate intervened with the lights going out. But, while the 49ers (TO THEIR CREDIT) gathered themselves and came back, ultimately, the Ravens did what they had to do to win. It was meant to be. Hey, as a Cowboy fan I understand your pain Hector. And I DO feel for you. I do. But watching Clark go out of bounds, push the defender to get open and come back in and be the first receiver to touch the ball on "the catch" was a bad no call in 1981. I've had to hear about it ever since. So no calls are something every team has to live with. So you have to look at the game as a whole. I think the interceptions ended up being the key difference. Hang in there Hector. The 49ers will be back. That is a great team. Hold your head high. I sure wish Dallas had a fraction of that teams' talent. Want to give us your backup QB?

Don't forget about the 1994 NFC championship. Dallas spots SF points with turnovers early and makes a great comeback. Third and goal with less than two minutes remaining and Aikman throws a pass that is heading right for Irvin's hands to put them up and Sanders pins Irvin's arm down WELL before the ball gets there. Not only do the officials NOT make that obvious call, but when Switzer is complaining about it, his play sheet accidentally brushed a ref and DALLAS gets a 15 yard penalty. Refs make that call and, not only does Dallas probably win that game, but most likely they beat the Chargers and win the coveted three-peat AND then four in a row as it would have turned out. So, while I am not a Ravens fan, that non call was fitting IMO.

Good point. Bottom line for this Superbowl: The Ravens made more plays and less turnovers. And look at the "gimme's" for the 49ers? The no touch "roughing the kicker" call that gave them another chance to make three points? The late hit on Flacco out of bounds that wasn't called on their final drive that would have extended that series? So when you're assessing the calls, you have to add them all up. The Ravens earned that title.

Thanks for the sentiments though, the best team won, the Niners showed their inexperience against a more seasoned team, head coach included, but like you said, the Niners will be back, and Kaepernick will be one of the elite QBs in the league for years to come.

And speaking of elite QBs, I hope every critic out there stops questioning whether Flacco is elite or not, because he is damn sure elite, he obviously proven it so in spades.
