    Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time

    anyone else a fan?

I have been reading this series as it came out for over 20 years. I have to say I was very hesitant to buy the final 3 books after Jordan died and held off. I knew I would get them at some point though. the final book just came out so I got the final 3 and read them over the last couple weeks and I have to say sanderson really did an outstanding job finishing the story. I know he had a lot of notes, partial chapters etc but he still had to put it all together and finish it.

the final book was really, a very satisfying conclusion to this epic tale. Bittersweet to see characters I had known for so long getting killed off but all necessary as part of the story.

if you haven't ever read any of it, i recomend it but I also understand it can be daunting to start on a 14 books series, plus 1 extra prequel novel. especially since the main books are all between 600-900 pages each. it is well worth it, great story telling/character develoment, etc. it's amazing the variety of richly developed cultures he created for the series
