Daniel Day-Lewis in 'There Will Be Blood'...

I just saw it a couple of hours ago, and I was mesmerized by his performance.

    I'll say it right now...

IT'S THE GREATEST PIECE OF ACTING I'VE EVER SEEN IN MY LIFE!!!

The man rules, NO friggin' question about it.

Daniel Day-Lewis destroys Johnny Depp, he destroys Sean Penn, he destroys Denzel Washington, he destroys Russell Crowe, he destroys Morgan Freeman, he destroys Al Pacino, he destroys Robert DeNiro, he destroys them all.

IF DANIEL DAY-LEWIS DOESN'T WIN BEST ACTOR IN THIS YEAR'S ACADEMY AWARDS, I'LL FLY DOWN TO L.A. AND STEP ON THE FRIGGIN' CITY WITH MY SIZE 13 SHOES!!!

Oh yeah, the movie was pretty good too, lol.

Daniel Day-Lewis, the KING of actors, period.

Gangs of New York is a pretty good movie as well, mostly because of him. I can't wait to see There will be Blood.

Yeah, Hector, he's a lock for the Oscar this year. Not everyone loves the movie, but everyone loves his performance. I personally loved both. You had 3 legendary bad guys come out in movies this year, Daniel Day Lewis in TWBB, Javier Bardem in No Country For Old Men, and Billy Mitchell in King of Kong.

Any roll he has taken he put 100% into. He also seems to pick his scrips very carefully.

From the dashing adventure hero in Last of the Mohicans to the megalomaniacal oilman in TWBB, Day-Lewis can do it all. TWBB is not my favorite film of the year by far, but it must be seen if only to be mesmerized by the lead actor's riveting and scenery-chewing performance.
