The event where the fans are separated from the true fans. -
Me and my Girl saw this in the Theater. It was awesome funny. My Girl loved it and she was not hopeful at all.

I'll watch this when it hits HBO/Cinemax but I find myself often disappointed with movies proclaimed "one of the funniest movies ever", like The Hangover. I have to admit, I am looking forward to the Flash Gordon stuff.Comment

Just rented it...and I loved it...
Ok Hec, It's been sitting my coffee table for three days, so I'm taking your word.
No...this flick is NOT for the kiddies.
Yes...it had vulgar humor, some scenes were tasteless (for some, lol)...but hey...we all knew that going in...but it was funny, it had heart...and the special-effects were good...and wow...it made half a billion bucks worldwide...can't wait for the sequel, lol.
One of my favorite things about Ted?
Both Marky Mark & Ted (voiced by creator Seth McFarlane) are HUGE Flash Gordon 80s movie fanatics...and the scenes with now 58 years old Sam Jones himself...were worth the price of admission, good to see 80s Flash Gordon back on screen...quarterback of the New York Jets...take that Mark Sanchez...

I rented through Netflix for years, but decided to drop their rental service after their fee hiking increases. I also got sick and tired waiting for weeks on end trying to get new releases.
I just kept Netflix Streaming, which is prety good for shows, documentaries, and independent movies.
I just started using Redbox a few months ago, and it's pretty good for new releases, and super cheap too.sigpicComment
