Ever watch a tv show that reminded you of someone you lost?

    Hey Gang,
I'm sitting here watching tv an the Golden Girls came on and the first person that I thought of was my Gram. I use to watch this with her all the time while we played rummy. Man I miss her.

When John Laroquette was on Happy Family he had this dark, dry snarkiness that reminded me of my dad every week.

Well, my mom and I used to have our shows we watched together. 7th Heaven and Ghost Whisperer. I miss watching those shows w/ her. Sometimes we'd watch Extreme Makeover Home Edition together.

Funny how the things we used to do with our loved ones seemed so meaningless at the time but later they are really missed.

Me and my grandma would watch the golden girls as well and when I was real young we would watch The Love Boat and Fantasy Island together.
With my grandfather we would watch Pro Wrestling every saturday morning from 84-89. I can still remember us playing with the bunny ears to get a clear signal.
At my grandfathers Eulogy we spoke about those moments in time.
What I wouldn't do to have those days back!

I was home sick Monday and watched two Gunsmoke episodes on TV Land. I haven't watched the show much since I was really young, when I would stay at my grandparents house while my parents were at work. It kind of took me back there watching it at home covered up in a blanket on the couch...

During the weekends I use to watch saturday morning cartoons at my grandparents. I would also stay up real late to watch music videos. Part of the reason I spent the weekend there is that they would let me.

I associate alot of my cartoon watching from the early eighties with them, epecially the ones i watched the most like Smurfs, Hero High, Kid Video, and Thundaar.
