Saw this last night, I did manage to watch the whole thing, but it was pretty poor imho.

Everywhere I've read, the books were real good. There was just so much chatter about this movie and I believe it made a lot. J never read the books and it was a total c to me. Total rip off of the running man, right down to the host. imo Hollywood puts out such crap now, I believe, if I could pick the actors I could turn in a decent dvd, without a script.

lol, I know I've been on a movie critic tear lately lol. I'm sure kids liked it. I just can't seem to find much of anything good(to me) very often anymore. Maybe it's just me. I do have really high hope for the new Bond movie though.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who saw that connection. I also felt that the way the elite ran/controlled everything reminded me of Logans Run. All in all I enjoyed the movie but it wasn't Best Picture material - IMHO
