Another Star Trek-themed Big Bang Theory episode

    More TNG craziness this Thursday

While the guys head to (Bakersfield) Comic-Con, the girls investigate their popular hangout during a clip from Thursday's episode.

Yeah, that looks hilarious. Sheldon as Data is pure genius. On the teaser they played the classic TOS them though. Weird.

It's very sitcomy. Like a raunchier Gilligan's Island, with the occasional dream/fantasy sequence, etc. Me and the wife love it.

I love this show. It's intelligent and funny, and the "winks" are enough to make me go "yeah, seen that, done that" time and time again.
Every episode is like attending a SciFi/Fantasy Convention. I've met many, many Sheldons and Howards over the years.

And we've seen so many great guest stars so far: Nimoy, Takei, Spiner, Burton, even Stephen Hawking.
And a whole episode starring a Star Trek Mego!
            Great show!

You guys are stuffy old farts.

Honestly, I was dubious too. Took me a long time to try it out. But I was quickly hooked. It's one of the most consistently entertaining shows I've seen in a long time. No shark jumping as of yet.

almost spit water out my nose as I saw that lol

I enjoy the show - get most of the humor - but don't go out of my way to watch it.
Moreless a time filler if I happen to be bored.

I admit I don't watch regularly either, the one character's insistence on dressing like he's going to a Monkees convention really irritates me

But I've watched more of it than mega-hit "How I Met Your Mother", which has never appealed to me - which is weird, since I like all the stars...

Sheldon hasn't said Bazinga in several seasons. But WB refuses to let it go on merchandise. The creators rightfully put it to rest within the show before Happy Days Syndrome set in.

I took a long time to watch this show and in watching the re-runs on TBS I have to say Sheldon has mellowed slightly over the years, (perhaps the addition of girl-friend Amy has had something to do with it).

Also can anyone tell me which episode has Amy wearing the blue female Trek Classic uniform? I've seen it in some of the promos for old episodes but don't know which one it was.

Yeah, that's a bit too obvious for me. I've given it PLENTY of tries. It's on right after the 6:30 rerun of "The Office" here and I'm super lazy but more than often it motivates me to get off the bed and go for a walk.

I don't think less of people that like it but I just don't dig the show.
