How do you know Ned Wertimer?

I've always been fascinated with the character actors we saw pop up in so many different movies and shows when we were kids. Wertimer passed away after a fall in LA. For me, I will always remember as the doorman from The Jeffersons. I don't think I realized he was in "Santa Claus Conquers the Martians."
