They would have declared the SEC's dominance over. Well...their mouths are shut for another year.

There's no doubt the SEC's the best conference, despite LSU and Florida flopping in their bowl games. I don't think the league was quite as good as it was the previous two seasons, but no other conference was better.

But with Bama winning three of the last four titles, I'm beginning to believe it's really Bama and every one else. With Bama setting the bar, the SEC will continue to be strong in striving to keep pace, but until Saban gets bored and retires or takes another shot at the NFL, the SEC and national titles go through Tuscaloosa.

Give him a month to prepare his team for an opponent and it's just ugly.

Bama's going to have to retool its offensive front next season, but the talent is there, and they are likely to be even better on defense.

Yea I agree with you, Florida was overrated all year. But it just worked out that way.
