Me too. Brilliant stuff for sure. Bob Dorough was a trail blazer in educational TV and tchiques. This is how I learned the preamble to the Constitution. Seriously.

Oh wow! I would go to that too! 40 years, huh? That's pretty cool! I'm a HUGE Schoolhouse Rock fan! I have all the videos, 3 t-shirts (Verb, Naughty #9, Conjunction Junction), the lunchbox, song book, and the Multiplication Rock record. And on Saturday mornings when I have my cartoon time, I interject some Schoolhouse Rock in as well. It wouldn't be Saturday morning w/o it! Congrats Bob Dorough!

Yep, Jim, I think ALL of us 70s kids learned the Preamble from watching this. in my junior year in Hi School, we had to recite it to the teacher. It was all I could do to keep from singing it!

Happy Anni to Bob. Quite popular in these parts of the Seattle School district. Surprised so many teachers are showing this to youngens and even putting on plays and skits based on SHR. Every now and then we break out the DVD to watch them all or listen to the tracks on road trips to entertain the girls.

I too wish I could attend the free show and sing along with fellow fans and feel that positive educational energy that seems to be lost in today's media.
