Reunion shows that could never happen.

I used to love reunion shows but you just don't see them anymore. And earlier I caught an episode of WKRP in Cincinnati and got to thinking; "How boring would a reunion show be? The industry that the show is based around virtually doesn't exist anymore, so how could you possibly reunite the characters and tell a 'what's been going on for the past 30 years' story?" Sure they tried to do a revamp in the 90's that fell flat but what about now? Perhaps the plot of a WKRP reunion show could be focused around the Carlson estate selling off the station to a big media conglomerate... zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz... sorry I put myself to sleep with just that one line.

Any other shows that come to mind for you? Mind you this is more in regards to settings / subject matter that simply doesn't exist anymore, more so than just the cast being dead. What could simply not happen as a reunion show -or- if it did happen would it be terribly boring or completely irrelevant -or- could a new spin be put on the situation?

    So, what say you?

The Walton's I'm a fan of this show....would love to see a new movie with the characters in the 70's the cast minus the grandparents are still alive.
They had a re union show with the cast sitting around a table.....but I wanted a movie....

Hogan's Heroes comes to mind for me. Even if they had done one before Bob Crane's death, how would they have handled things after the end of WW II?

First show that came to mind was ALF. After a movie like Ted, the animation seems to be getting easier to do and more realistic. I wouldn't be surprised if that ends up being a new trend on TV and with the movie due to come out I wound't be surprised to see them round up some of the old cast in one way or another. Of course they did all hate the guy who created, voiced, and operated the stupid puppet and drugs were rampant on the set which should make it all the more interesting.

The A-team,sure that british dude got to get most of the cast together a few years ago but that was just a sit down deal.I'd like a show and with peppard deceased that's never going to happen.
Bonanza but again with Greene,Blocker and Landon gone not much of a show.
Happy Days would be freaking cool if you ask me.
Angel the shows only been gone a few years but a movie or new series would be awesome.
Firefly-with the cast having gone on to bigger things I think it could pull more of a draw now.
A chips reunion show something better than chips 99.
              Emergency
original cast BSG-Hatch and Benidict are still around.
Buck Rogers this could be awesome.

Most of the other shows I like the cast is just way to old or dead now.
