    Last time I saw MTV in 2004 it sucked big time. Since then I've been pay TV free.

        VH1 Classic is an OK alternative but sometimes I questione their programming as well...

                  I've been missing the all-video format of MTV for well over ten years now. I would absolutely LOVE a Retro or Classic MTV that played all my old faves from the 80s! With all the radio play 80s hits get these days, it's a wonder MTV hasn't jumped on the bandwagon. Imagine sitting down and watching all these videos from back in the day, one after the other:

                  * Joan Jett and the Blackhearts - I Love Rock 'n' Roll / Crimson and Clover
                  * Men at Work - I Come from the Land Down Under / Who Can it Be Now?
                  * Chess - One Night in Bangkok
                  * Thomas Dolby - She Blinded ME with Science
                  * Adam & the Ants - Prince Charming / Stand & Deliver / Goody Two Shoes
                  * Van Halen - Jump / Hot for Teacher
                  * Michael Jackson - Billie Jean / Beat It / Thriller!
                  * Madonna - Like a Virgin, etc.
                  * ???? - Come On Eileen
                  * ??? - Dar Commisar
                  * Talking Heads - Burning Down the House / "Days Go By (?title?)"

                  etc. etc. etc. etc. etc.!

                    MTV2 doesn't show as many as they use to. They've sadly gone the MTV route and air the shows that use to air on MTV like Beavis and Butt-Head,Celebrity Death Match,Viva La Bam and so on.

                      And sadly, even Beavis and Butthead seem to be the same few episodes over and over, at least any time i turn it on to watch them...

                        I've got a nice 6 hr. video compilation I put together on VHS a few years back that I pop in every now and again...old 80s videos that used to be shown on stuff like VH1's "The Big 80s" and whatnot...Nothing like watching the whole thing on a Saturday afternoon!

                          I haven't watched VH-1 Classic in awhile. Do they still air We Are The 80s?
