Set the DVR, its back and starts Monday at 8 AM on SyFy. If you check the listings, they are actually showing so of the better less often showed ones. Have atleast 10 ready to record.
TZ on New Year's Eve/Day is a long standing tradition in this house. Talky Tina and I will be watching.

As long as they don't play the saucer on the roof of the giant old lady's house.
That episode is probably the most over-played episode in the history of all television
I'm so glad you said that. I HATE that episode! "The Invaders" has been a part of every "Twilight Zone" Marathon I've watched over the last 30 years....from WPIX to WSBK to Sci-Fi to Syfy....

The Invaders was one of Serlings personal favorite episodes. He said that the toy men they used at the end to represent the US spacemen kind of ruined the illusion of who the invaders actually were but he said it was a classic Sci-Fi episode and it had a classic TZ twist that was, at the time original and shocking. He's on record as saying despite that terrible illusion of the toy men at the end, it's one of his top two TZ episodes ever and it was all they could afford on the show as the original script called for actual "shrunk" spacemen to be superimposed infront of a giant old lady alien but that effect cost too much. Personally, I can't stand The Invaders and it's one of my least favorite episodes and when I read that that was one of Serlings top episodes, I was really surprised. His other favorite btw was Time Enough At Last.

I like the hour longs. I don't really care for the western ones, and some of the military ones, but by and large I really like most of the eps. And since I haven't been watching them on Me-TV since the holidays started (and I've been watching Hallmark), I'll really enjoy watching the marathon.
