Role Playing Games and Miniatures gaming

Do anyone here play pen and paper and dice RPGs? How about miniature gaming? If yes, what games do you play?

I used to play Star Wars Miniatures and Heroclix....lots of fun.

I don't play RPGs but I occassionally buy manuals of games because they make interesting reading. The last games I read were Savage Worlds, Mars, Scion and Hellas: Worlds of Sun and Stone. Would love to run a Hellas campaign in the future.

    Let's hear it....

Dungeons and Dragons and G.u.r.p.s. (with is actually easier and can be used in SciFi, Cyberpunk, fantasy, etc)

I found my original Mayfair DC Role Playing Game a few months back. I asked for it for Christmas one year. I never could convince my friends to play it with me. Way too much set up. It was over our heads, and we were all tweens/teens. That was my only try at RPG.

I've been playing Shadowrun and D&D 3.5 again lately. I was running a Pathfinder campaign for a while but that kind of lost steam (like they always do).
I play the occasional game of 40K, Dreadball and Warmachine/Hordes. I'm actually painting up a Dark Eldar army tomorrow for a Iron Painter competition. Should be fun as long as the world doesn't end.

I briefly painted some stuff for Ral Partha's catalogs when they still printed them. My best friend was a caster for them and got all kinds of stuff from them. They sold to employees by the pound regardless of what it was. The factory is here in Cinci, so I'd go in there and just grab all kinds of figures and parts for painting, mostly for personal use. I was a diehard gamer and did so till my mid twenties or so. The last gaming I did was Middle Earth rules, which are so freakin cool compared to AD&D. FOr a fantasy game it was more realistic with fatal blows regardless of hit points.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.
