And...all of that was for nothing...I stayed up for nothing....And you what? I'm glad nothing happened. Of course, something might happen later in the day, but I'm beat. Got nothing more to say.
It's 1 o'clock in the morning, 22nd December where I am, and here I sit.
All these nitwits waiting for the end of days seem to be living in pretty stable societies/countries, with running water, and where most people aren't starving.
Meanwhile, in places like Syria or Mali, people are fighting, dying, starving to death. For people living in warzones or where natural disasters have occurred, or where there is famine, the end of the world has already come. Thousands died during the Boxing day tsunami in 2006: for folks in those places the end of the world has come and gone.
Depends. Did you take the blue pill or the red one? If the blue, yes all is well. The red? Just hang on and ride it out. It'll pass in about six hours. But whatever you do DO NOT drink ANY orange juice.
Not just shopping. I recently had a lengthy conversation about houses and property values while standing outside of our library with a fellow wearing his jammie bottoms and some seriously puffy slippers with glow in the dark stars all over them. I had a difficult time staying on topic.
I can see the Mayans, thousands of years back:
Mayan 1: "Any idea where you put the 2013 calendars?"
Mayan 2: "Forget it. The printer totally messed that batch up, threw them all away."
Mayan 1: "Don't forget to get some more made..."
Mayan 2: "I'll try to remember, but I need to take the kids to soccer practice..."

"When things are at their darkest, it's a brave man that can kick back and party."
