I'm in a love/hate relationship with eggnog. Sometimes, it tastes like crap, othertimes, it's delicious. It's been so long I can't remember which brand has the good stuff and which ones to avoid.

Came here to say this. But my mom's/grandma's recipe is with a bit of rice crispies instead of the chips. I'd like to try your version though, I love salty peanut butter.
Also gingerbread (yeah the soft stuff), Peanut brittle (wouldn't eat it any other time of year), choclate bark w/ almonds, eggnog with a splash or two of something boozy (spiced rum or fireball whisky works nicely), and any kind of seasonal dark beer (double chocolate cranberry or coffee porter).

Tamales and champurrado...a must in every Mexican household during Christmas.

For my American sensibilities, a bone in honey ham hits the spot.
