I dunno, I don't like the idea of cheese with pork and BBQ sauce, that would be a strange combination, but you never know, lol.

I think I see a McRib in my future tomorrow. I took a week off, and I'm sure they'll be gone after New Year's at least!

And no cheese on pork with bbq...although I bet my son would be up for it. That boy would eat cheese on cardboard!!!

Well I finally had one tonight, and I hate to say it but it was kinda gross. However, it had sat in the cold for a bit before I could get to it, but I don't know how much that affected the overall taste and texture of it. I broke my house key off in the lock of our front door, and my daughter and I had to eat our dinner in the car. The taste wasn't awful or anything, but the color and texture weren't all that appealing. I'm willing to give it another chance under better circumstances, though.

Yea, I think a lot has to do with who makes them. The ones I had last year had WAY too much sauce for my taste. The first one this year was perfect on the sauce.

I may just have to give in and try these again. I remember having one in college, maybe around 1993 and really liking them. I don't like pickles or onions, so it's pretty plain for me. Maybe I'll doctor them up with hot sauce.

It really needs to be hot. McRib is one of those things I won't order if I'm taking my food home to eat, because it takes me about 20 minutes to get from McD's to my front door.

And yes, it depends on who makes it, for sure. Last year I had one that was so covered in sauce the bun was soggy when I got it, and another one that was so dry I could barely choke it down.

Balance to the Force they must bring, yes.

Actually I don't mind if they're cold. A couple of years ago, I was flying to NYC and the second flight was held over b/c of ice on the wings of the plane. It was getting late and I knew I'd be getting hungry. So I went to the airport McD's and bought 2 McRibs; one to eat right then and one for later. You can imagine the envy of the other passengers around me while an hour or so into the flight, they're still trying to make their peanuts last, and I bust out a McRib w/ the sauce and onions smell. It was cold, but still tasty!

BTW Hector, why didn't you bring me one? Hmmmmm?
