Forgive me for making this is a big deal..but it is for us NBA Bay Area fans...lol.

Wow...the Warriors (15-7), have won eight of their past nine games and improved to 5-0 on their current seven-game Eastern trip...I can't believe they beat the Heat in Miami...

They are second in the Western Conference (behind the Clippers by one game)...six games ahead of the Lakers...

It seems like at last...Golden State has a decent team...hopefully when Bogut returns...that will make them even better...I'd be super happy if they make it to the playoffs, and at least win one series, I'll be a happy man...

The Heat just suck as of late, but this seems to be a trend with them..they ease thru the regular season and pick it up during the playoffs like Boston and a couple of other teams do

I like what Memphis is doing, I think the Knicks are playing good now, but they'll get knocked out fast in the play offs(especially when amare comes back,2 ball hogs destroy your chemistry and they already have Melo hogging it)

I like Golden State, David Lee is really underrated and curry's a beast when healthy and it'll all depend on how healthy he is in the end, the West is just too strong

The Lakers F'd up big time when they went with d'Antoni instead of Phil, I was shaking my head when that happened but relieved The Lakers were at their best with the triangle offense that Kobe perfected with Phil not the high fast pace offense that D'Antoni runs...they're are just too old for that

The road to the East is just way easier then the West, I can't see anyone challenging Miami except Boston and I still think we'll beat them...and then of course after the West has beat the crap out of each other then they'd have to face a fresher Heat team...so it's a little unfair

As someone who intently watched the NBA in the 80's and 90's, this is not the same game, it's not even close. It's run down the court, dunk. Run down the court alley-opp. Run down the court, act like you got fouled with a shotgun. Run down the court, travel. Walk down the court, argue with ref for thirty feet.

Here's an idea, actually two ideas. Compress the league and eliminate six teams, I don't care which. Take those players and distribute them among the remaining teams to have a much stronger league.

Dunks are worth one point. Sure they look pretty on highlight reels, but they rarely win games. Let's get back to shooting, passing and playing defense.

no way dude..the reason you didn't see that back then is because athletes are way better now..the greatest players from "back then" helped the game evolve to what it is today...the best athletes like Jordan ,Dr.J , D. wilkins....those guys would still be beasts in todays game and they started it back in the day.. I love todays game

Pro sports is not only competition, but is entertainment as well, that's I watch the bloody games in the first place, lol.
