How much do you spend at Xmas?

How much do you usually spend at Xmas? I know it may be a bit to personal.

    Dude ..., I spend a Grand Easy.
Trying to get the Old Lady some Tires as well this year, as part of her gift, so yeah ..., Over.
I pay cash for Everything though..., Everything. So, No Debt.
Trying to really give important Stuff this year..., really picking Gifts, rather than just Blowing Money on Nonsense.

Usually $200 - $400. Though this year was surprisingly light at only $180.

I don't even want to add it up. It's mostly on the kids, of course.

If I had to guess probably about $500-1000. We do sometimes pool all of our gift cards for a big family gift but I don't count that. Most of the time it has been either a big flat screen TV or a PS3.

This will be our 20th Christmas together, kinda hard to believe.Spent more than half my life with her. By now we've run out of things to get for each other. We always make a couple things for each other thats a tradition that goes way back. And for a fun kick the wife came up with the idea of finding 3 things random in the house that we might have forgot about and wrap them up for under the tree. So other than little stocking stuffer type things it looks like it will be a low budget Christmas. As I reread what I just wrote , someone might think this as cheap, but there is a method to our madness.

waaaayyy tooooo much. But I love to give around the holidays.....especially if someone has a need. With my job I have the opportunity to run across some truly needy families who are truly grateful. I love to shop for those type of kids. My own kids are reaching an end to the cool gifts....I've spoiled them too much over the years and Ive run out of things to get them. I always try to find something special for the wife.....this year is no different. 2500.....each year would be my guess. I tap into a little bit of all my resources and spend the rest of the summer paying it off..lol
