What a fight, one for the ages.
Juan Manuel Marquez drops Manny Pacquiao in the third, then Pacman returns the favor and knocks down Marquez in the following round, then Marquez is badly hurt, and barely survives the round...moving on to the sixth round, Manny seems ahead and senses blood and tries to go for the kill with ten seconds remaining in the sixth round, and Marquez counterpunches and lands a vicious right hand, and Manny crashes face first to the canvas, he is out cold. He's out for a few minutes, and it looks scary for a while, but finally comes to, and is helped up to his stool.
All I can say is wow, what a classic.
I don't think Manny is going to recover from this, that was a nasty knockout.
Congrats to Marquez, one of the best counterpunchers I've ever seen.
Somewhere out there, Floyd Mayweather is smiling.
