    Great article. In all my years of pulling vintage clothes I've never pulled an A-2. A friend of mine found a great painted one this year. They are awesome awesome objects--part folk art, part history and part fashion!

        One of my absolute favorite pieces of clothing in history!!!

          Indeed, thanks for the link!... My Grandpa Sam painted planes and jackets while servicing an airstrip in occupied France. His stories of holding that small field behind enemy lines and what the artwork meant to his flight crew inspire and humble me all the time as an artist.

            I'd like to see CTVT make brown leather jackets that we could use to make bomber jackets.
