    steak-ums , you like 'em ?

Stopped at the grocery store for a few things on the way home from work, and saw they had steak-ums on sale. Its been years since we've had them, but they just sounded good. Gonna have them for supper tonight, you like them?

I like them but sometimes they have a nasty watery taste.

Oh dear God SteakUms are badass. They are ridiculously expensive for the amount of meat you actually get after cooking it, but wow is that stuff good.

A little too salty and not enough meat for me.

I'd rather buy thin steak from the meat section, fry it up, and make a Philly Cheesesteak with that. It's way cheaper and not as many preservatives and junk.

if any of you guys have a Dollar Tree near you check them out for $1 ribeye steaks. They are just thin slices but fairly decent in size but get 2-3 of those and they make great steak sandwishes

I love them but they are a mess to cook.

I rather get a cut of fresh sirloin, and ask the butcher to slice it really thin for me.

I'll do the salt and pepper thing myself.

I didn't even know they still made those. I used to eat them when I first moved out on my own when I was 18, simply b/c they were cheap. They were OK, but when I think steak, I like something char-broiled, thick and medium-rare.

These things, called Sizzlers, blow Steak-Ums away. They sell 'em at Wal-Mart. Two thinly sliced steaks with a seasoned ground beef patty in between. And it's REAL steak too...not that chopped up crap.

Fry 'em up with a slice of provolone....OH MY GOD.

It was the 6 pack box on sale for a 1.49, so I didn't think that was to horrible.
