    How full is your DVR?

Went to watch Moonshiners and holy cow, it's 95% full.Better start watching stuff, or just delete it. How much space is left on yours?

The family room Comcast DVR typicaly gets 95% full - it's the one my wife uses to record the Housewives shows, Gossip Girl, Bill & Julia, The View, etc and she always has at least 4-5 Glee's that she can watch again...and again...and again..we'll usually clean it out down to about 60-65% at any given time.

The Tivo in the master bedroom is "mine" and I only have American Pickers, Around the Horn, PTI, and Shark Tank set up as recordings. So it doesn't get very full - I have plenty of room to record and extend live games.

    We have a good compromise.

55%- including 6 eps of American Horror Story I need to watch when the kid isn't around, a couple CSIs,and last night's Person of Interest & Elementary. rest is assorted stuff the wife watches. Our DVR uses more space if it records the HD channel version of a show too.

I keep having to delete stuff off of mine. Halloween really killed it. I have a lot of non HD space, but HD has about 2 hours left or something.

I have OCD tendencies, if it gets over 20% i start deleting stuff whether I have watched or not.

I'm kind of a ludite, I've never even owned a DVR. But on the other hand, all the TV shows I watch I either download or record on my PC (with tuner) and then stream to my TV. I have nearly 3 TB of hard drive storage, I have seasons and seasons of many different shows stored and I haven't even used 20% of my space.

Our DVR is always full, but then again, it is a twelve year old, tiny 40 hour one. I have been trying everything to get Dish to upgrade us, and they refuse.
