Has anyone else seen these? Saw a set at Wal-Mart last night. They're some of the best Pez I've ever seen.
Really nice sculpts and perfect paint in a cool tin.
The only one I like is Gene. The others look more like the guys from the midget tribute band to me.
I think you're right. I'd go for the Gene one. Paul doesn't look very much like the starman, and the others are very good, but Eric Singer and Tommy Thayer are definitely not Peter and Ace!
OK guys please, please, please do not complaint about the Ace and Peter thing. Those two were brought back into KISS for a short reunion and they stayed more longer then they should. Peter Criss is a burn out who can barely play drums. I do like Ace Frehley but he is better off solo (hence last solo CD). Tommy Thayer and Eric Singer are on their second album with KISS now and they've been kicking serious butt for awhile. I own the new KISS albums on CD and Vinyl (just because I'm a collector) and there isn't any Kiss- Ace/Peter record that can rock as hard as "Sonic Boom" and "Monster".
...and besides; Ace and Peter barely even played on the albums they were supposed to be on. Gene Simmons and Paul Stanley had session musicians because those two were too drunk or stoned to perform.
What broke my heart the most is the famous reunion album of Ace, Gene, Paul and Peter "Psycho Circus" and I found out that Ace and Peter only played on two or three songs on the whole album. Tommy Thayer (guitarist in KISS now) and Bruce Kulick did the guitar parts. So, needless to say the whole nostalgia of the Kiss foursome was crushed. Don't get me wrong, I am a fan but "don't pay attention to that man behind the curtain." Really sucks....man.
They only thing you can guarantee Ace and Peter are playing on are the KISS/Foursolo LPS. Don't get me wrong, when I was a kid, I loved Ace and Peter but **** happens. They got old, they got tired and like a football player they were replaced. Pick up the new KISS album "Monster".
