      batmanmc,I have been to the Great Western Railway Museum a few times when I was a Kid,they got some great things there,I am sure they had a replica of George Stevensons Rocket,that thing looked dangerous.

        It's kind of funny. It seems other people have no problems with those who have large train set-ups. It's those of us with large toy collections who get the weird looks.

          I can only guess that model scale trains are , and have always been timeless or ageless.Handed down from father to son sometimes. Where as toys by most people are just considered toys. Get the better of those neighsayers get your self a train to go with your Megos.

            Ive always wanted one. I like all the details. The painted backdrop really adds to it as well.

            Those type of displays take up so much room but I wish I could dedicate a space to one.

              like you need the whole kitchen to cook in
              run it across the counter tops.

                  Fun set-up..I love trains..I do not own any at the time due to space, but I have had a few set-ups in the past..I also love riding steam trains, and I am a member of the Carolwood Pacific...and I ride the Grand Canyon Railway every year....fun stuff...
