    Anybody remember Goliath Awaits ?

    Just watched Goliath Awaits again.

Man, I haven't seen that movie (TV movie-mini series) since new in the early 80's

All I remembered was the diver seeing the girl looking out the porthole

Anybody else remember this movie ?

Starred Mark Harmon and Christopher Lee

Didn't you just send me that? I haven't had time to watch 'cos I've been pretty busy, but I will!

Very cheesy, but yes, I liked it. We are big NCIS watchers at our house and I just recommended to them that we watch this due to Mark Harmon starring in it. I think they will like it.

I remember seeing the ads and thinking it looked cool. I started watching it one day and then my brother took over the TV to watch a stupid baseball game(an event that happened a lot in my childhood)!

I remember it being quite a big deal for WPIX (Channel 11) in NYC when it was first broadcast. The diver and the girl in the porthole (Emma Samms) was the most prominent part of the commercials.
If I had only spent a tenth of the time studying Physics that I spent learning Star Wars and Baseball trivia, I would have won the Nobel Prize.

I remember it, I wish they'd give it the full DVD treatment.

The closest they got was by cutting the mini series in half, and putting it on videotape.

I saw it when it was first run, and I thought it was cheesy, but it was enjoyably cheesy. Kind of like a three cheese pizza; not a slice of Limberger.

back in the 1990s the fight (or it was VS) channel aired the complete and full uncut showing (which was what... almost double the length of the vhs version). I made a nice dvd (2 disc) from that airing if anyone is interested in the entire thing. Still scares me when he (the diver) first sees the girls face in the sunken boat window

Starroid Raiders Dagon wrote "No Dime Store Monster left behind"
