Score! Can you spot the diamond in the rough?

    Hey Gang.

I had a good day recently after I picked up this box of rusty old toy pistols at an estate sale. At first I didn't notice it and even after I started going through the box later it took me a minute to realize what I had.

    Any guesses?

Is the long black cylindrical gun the Superman movie pistol from the late 30s?

My bad. I"ll update the photo to a numbered version so you can tell which gun you are talking about.

Chris are you talking about #3 or #6? (those two are the same)

From the angle no 1 looks like it could be a Daisy Superman.

                Ding! Ding! Ding!

                Man, you guys are good!

Yes, I scored a 1940 Daisy Superman Krypto Ray Gun entirely by accident. I bought the box literally because I thought they would probably be thrown away and I figured I could put the lot on ebay and someone who cares about such things would buy them. It was only much later after I got home and went through everything that I realized what it was. Of course, as a huge Superman fan, I'm thrilled to have this vintage toy pistol!

If anyone is interested in knowing, the others are I think all Wyandotte pressed steel toy clicker and other pistols from the 1930s. The two that are the same, #3 and #6 are Water Pistols. Number 4 is a "Red Ranger" pistol. The remaining are generic type. One say "G Man" on it.

Awesome find, but I'm still confused which one it was in the box? Either way, I was fairly close!

I can't think of a better person to find this. Your avatar says it all!

from the looks of it, the condition isn't terrible and it works. Great score!

Now only if you can find the front part of the gun
