Finally felt the affects of no heat and electricity for 4 days last week (Thanks Sandy) Caught a cold and stayed home from work today. One unpaid sick day and a slight fever...but I still got out there and voted today. Quickest I've ever got in and out of the polls. New Yorker's you have until 9PM eastern to get out there and vote. It's more than just a presidential election. Congressional and Senate seats are up here in NY also. Vote.

We voted last Saturday, only had to wait a minute. I hope those affected by Sandy still get a chance to let their voice be heard. Voting is one of the greatest rights we have as American citizens. Lots of people have fought and lost their lives for us to be able to vote. I get offended when i hear people making excuses as to why they didn't vote. These are usually the same people that whine and complain about stuff.

This is the first year I live in a state with early voting. Looooove it! Voted last Friday with no issues.

I'm glad it's over. No more stupid ads on TV. It was cool though, I took my son into the booth with me and he loved it. I used this video to make up my mind who I voted for. Funny stuff...

can't believe there are people waiting 6 hours in line to vote. that's dedication for you. I got out this afternoon. the new fill in the circle ballots are slower to do and the people at the tables take too damn long to explain them to every person in line but fortunately there was only one person ahead of me so it only took 15 minutes....LOL

I moved last year, and my polling place is actually just around the corner, practically in walking distance. There was one person in front of me and I was in adn out in about five minutes. It's a lot easier when you are filling out 95 percent one party with only three local issues.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

Something i've always wondered ... If the popular vote don't count, then why bother voting ? (for president that is) .... seriously.

Popular vote does count on a state-by-state basis. The winner of a state's popular vote gets all of its electors. (Well, except in a couple of states... I think Maine and Nebraska.)

And of course, FLA is still undecided. I hit the voting booth on the way home from work, in and out pretty quick. Glad I read all the amendments before I went. A two page double sided ballot is ridiculous.
