    Barry Morse(Space:1999, The Fugitive) RIP

I just heard in my OnlineAlpha newsgroup that Barry Morse has passed away. He was always my favorite in Space:1999 and he also did a bang up job in whatever I saw him in (an episode of The Twilight Zone comes to mind).

He would've been 90 in June so he had a good long life but still, from what I've heard about him as a person (I know someone in England who is aquanted with him and even got an autographed photo of Barry through the aquantance) I wished he could've lived forever.

That and I wish they kept him for Space:1999 year 2.

      Loved Dr Victor Bergman !!!!!!

Strangely enough, I was just watching The Last Sunset last night and wondered if Barry was still alive.

He was actually not English but Canadian, right ?

      RIP

This is really sad, he was a wonderful person.

I ran into him and his family one day walking down younge st (Morse had lived in Canada for a good part of his life) and approached him. Possibly the most genuine celebrity I have ever met, gracious, signed an autograph and lingered. A person I know was in a theatre class in the late 70's and said Barry Morse showed up a great deal to give advice, he did this for free and just liked hanging around with actors.

            He will be missed.

He was English but moved to Canada after the war.
