How to make zombie scars (I know Halloween is over)

A couple asked me how I did the make up for my daughter's zombie bride costume.

It was pretty simple.

Step 1: cover the area for the scar with liquid latex.

Step 2:Take two ply toilet paper and seperate the plys. Take the single ply and roll it up long ways real tight (repeat). You now have two "thin ropes of toilet paper. Stick them to the wet latex, outlining the scar.

Step 3: cover the toilet paper with more latex and add more latex over all to make a good layer. Let dry about 20 mins.

Step 4: use Halloween make up to blend/bleed/etc

Halloween isn't over.....don't ever write that. We have just another 300+ days to get ready for next year. A not so artistic way to blend the scar to the skin is to use fake blood.

In the last picture, we did this. Actually after I took this photo, i added even more blood. I put a bunch on her face and than had her smear it with her fore arm, like she wiped her mouth.
