Just curious if anyone has interest in this new Hulk film (NOT the last one). If so, are you beginning to wonder if there are problems with the "new" vision as well? I find it very odd that the best Marvel has done is release a shadowy pic of the "new" Hulk and still not so much as a teaser with barely five months to go. When your talking about a film that needs to deliver "wow" for it's bucks, that to me is a vote of no confidence. From all outward appearances this is a film that will not see a marketing blitz until roughly 30 days before it opens, in hopes of getting one big opening weekend (which accounts for the biggest piece of any film's gross). Ironman is already on it's second trailer and has been seen in theaters and TV (the Superbowl to be the next big exposure). In my mind, if the Hulk does not debut tomorrow during the Super Bowl along side Ironman, then we have a film in serious trouble. What does everyone think?

I kinda miss the days where you had little or no idea other than a poster and 1 trailer for a film....look at the impact films like Star Wars , Close Encounters and Jaws had with simple unrevealing trailers.ENGLISH AND DAMN PROUD OF ITBritish by birth....English by the grace of God.
Yes Jamie...it is big isn't it....

i was thinking the same thing....they must be holding out to give us the most bang. I have zero knowledge about this show with the exception of the pic posted in this thread already. I didn't know there was a pic of the hulk leaked...
anyone know if this is going to be another jacked up cgi hulk or actor?Comment

I don't think the film need that much early hype, although a little more awareness wouldn't hurt. I'd probably start pushing it in the early spring for maximum effect.
As far as the Hulk character, is supposed to be a combination of prosthetic makeup, animitronics and CGI.

There was a really awesome pic of the new Hulk floating around on the MM a couple of months ago, but it's not on the official site and I can't seem to find it anymore....Comment

I'm not saying this is going to happen... but rumor is that Universal has purchased 1 ad spot for the Superbowl. They aren't advertising which film they're going to showcase, either.
So... we could POSSIBLY see something tonite.
According to Variety Magazine eight movie promos for upcoming films are scheduled to be shown during Sunday's Super Bowl telecast, at a cost of almost $3 million for a 30-second spot.
Sometimes the strategy works - remember the stunning "Independence Day" trailer showing the alien destruction of the White House in 1996 - and sometimes it doesn't - as with last year's swimming drama "Pride" or "Hulk" in 2003.
According to Variety the broadcast will features promos of Paramount and Marvel's "Iron Man"; Sony's Will Smith action film "Hancock"; and the Adam Sandler comedy "Don't Mess With the Zohan." The ad for the Will Ferrell sports comedy "Semi-Pro." is a collaboration with Budweiser.
(Take an early peek at the "Iron Man" trailer, here).
Disney will either promo "Wall-E," the new Pixar film, or "The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian."
Paramount will show the trailer for "Drillbit Taylor," with Owen Wilson and written by Seth Rogen, in pre or post game ads.
Universal, Warner Bros. and Fox have also bought time during the game, but did not reveal which films they would promo.
But don't be surprised if Universal offers a look at their summer superhero film "The Hulk."
