Animals. House of the Rising Sun
This song brings back memories of my Best Friend Jewels. We met through a guy I worked with named Andy. Me and her had some great fun which also led to me meeting my other best friend Allison who worked with her at the Airport terminal. This song always makes me think of them.

Indian Reservation (Cherokee People) By Paul Revere and The Raiders. I can remember when I was about 5, and our family would drive up to Echo Hill, (some property owned by my dad's job), for some swimming and a picnic. It was a long drive and I can always remember this playing on the radio on the way up. It's always been one of my favorite summertime tunes.
"Do you believe, you believe in magic?
'Cos I believe, I believe that I do,
Yes, I can see I believe that it's magic
If your mission is magic your love will shine true."Comment

I really associate my youth with songs that were popular on the radio at the time. A few are:
Bangles: Walk like an Egyptian. One of my favorite years 1987
Wilson Phillips: Hold on. This was played when I finished middle school.Comment

Billy Joel's Keeping the Faith. That song was on the charts during my senior year in high school(1984-85) and Simple Minds' Don't You Forget About Me. Oh yeah, USA For Africa's We Are the World(1985) and Band Aid's Do they Know It's Christmas?(1984).Comment

Journey - Separate Ways
This has always been my favorite song since it's release in 83 and it's the first song I ever got to perform live. "Yeah, no pressure, sing a Steve Perry song, you'll do fine." It wasn't a complete train wreck, it actually turned out fairly decent. There might have been fifty people there, maybe less. There's no way I could do a lot of Perry tunes cause that's rough on the vocal cords. I have no idea how he did what he did as long as he did.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.
If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.Comment
