A View To A Kill blu ray Target exclusive

Yes, I know it is not one of the best Bond outings and it was the one where 57 year old Roger Moore decided to reliquish his licence to kill when he found out he was older than the mother of his leading lady Tanya Roberts but I dig this movie.

It used to be on cable all the time and I loved how James Bond went through (practically) the whole female cast except for Moneypenny, of course. I like the Duran, Duran theme song and the fact that at that point they were betond taking themselves seriously.

I like Chris Walkin as the Bond villian who perhaps all he really needed was more cowbell.

The blu ray is great and unlike other remixes of older films has a surround stereo track that is aggresive and directional.

Of course, the blu ray makes the tag team of Bond stunt doubles even more visible. It makes me wonder if they just didn't care about hiding stunt doubles. One key shot of Bond's (obvious) stunt double in a car where the too gets ripped off was used a lot in the trailer and TV ads.

The Golden Gate bridge climax still great but some of the front projection parts stand out but the model and stunt work still shines.

Anyway, a fun buy for $10 at Target.

Thanks for the heads up! I'll be getting this. That movie plays like a special soundtrack in my life because of events I had going at the time. A descent movie filled with warm memories for me.

Call your particular Target to see if they are in stock before making the trip.

This movie was memorable just to watch Tanya Roberts. I can't really remember if there was a plot. I can't really remember if there were other people starring in it!!

I remember Walken laughing as he falls down the Golden Gate Bridge to his death.
That man sure knows how to play crazy...
