Michael Vick owns a dog again

This might be a no-story but he has confirmed his family has a dog. What's unsure is what kind of dog, that will speak volumes if it's ever revealed. Maybe he's learned a lesson, maybe he's changed. That's not for me to say. All I can picture is him taking his dog to the park with a frisbee and having it intercepted by someone else's dog...five times. Then someone's errant thrown tennis ball hits him in the ribcage, breaking two of them.
I almost had a psychic girlfriend but she dumped me before we met.

If anyone here believes in psychokinesis, please raise my hand.

He will either fight him, drown, eletrocute, hang, or just beat that poor dog to death, just like the good 'ol days.

Unbelievable, this is like letting Sandusky adopt kids.

I thought part of his probation was that he couldn't own one.

Personally, I think that's a little harsh. None of us know him - I tend to give the benefit of the doubt and believe that he is trying to teach his kids a lesson. He paid his dues and he knows better than anyone what the consequences would be if he did any of the things you describe.

People who abuse animals should be put on the receiving end.
Some quality time in a ring with about five or six fighting dogs. Let's see how entertaining they find that...

That was not harsh at all, that's what the dude did, no ifs or buts about it.

Had he not been caught, he would've taught his kids the very same thing.

Sorry, as a dog lover, that dude will always be a dog killer.

I don't think its harsh at all, and exactly what dues did he pay? He lost a year or so of playing is back now making millions of dollars to sit on his *** and suck when he does play. If it was one of us poor slugs, we'd probably still be out of work and lost most everything we had.

Just like sex offenders shouldn't be allowed near kids, it should be the same for those who abuse animals.

Call me harsh or Draconian, but I believe in the death penalty for people like him. For animal abuse, torture, etc.

I'd only allow the killing of an animal (besides for food) for religious purposes. Call it crazy, insane, whatever.

In a perfect world it would bite him while he slept
If he had been anyone other than a star athlete he would still be put away I bet.

"But some sounds ring forever. As a dog owner, it’s impossible for me to forget the terms from his indictment. The talk about wetting down dogs with water to electrocute them. “Hanging, drowning and slamming at least one dog’s body to the ground.’’

You are a bold and courageous person, afraid of nothing. High on a hill top near your home, there stands a dilapidated old mansion. Some say the place is haunted, but you don't believe in such myths. One dark and stormy night, a light appears in the topmost window in the tower of the old house. You decide to investigate... and you never return...

In a way,I feel sorry for his daughter. It's suppose to be her dog but she'll have to deal with this garbage because of what her dad did.

Did you see what he said about it? There was no way a moron like Vick came up with the words he said. And anyone who does what he did to an animal will always be a piece of trash in my eyes.
                              Here is what he said.

“I understand the strong emotions by some people about our family’s decision to care for a pet," Vick said in a statement released to Philly.com on Thursday. "As a father, it is important to make sure my children develop a healthy relationship with animals.

"I want to ensure that my children establish a loving bond and treat all of God’s creatures with kindness and respect. Our pet is well cared for and loved as a member of our family. This is an opportunity to break the cycle. To that end, I will continue to honor my commitment to animal welfare and be an instrument of positive change.”

Vick made the statement a day after he was asked whether he owned a dog
