For some reason ..., I gotta see this Nonsense.
I was young in that Time Period ...., but saw it all , before Grunge Destroyed it.
The Previews just have a Feel good Get Lost sorta Vibe to it. I don't watch Musicals ....., The Only 1 I ever Watch is Grease ...., and still will too ..., but I am gonn give it a Shot.

Just watced it and I was not expecting a musical at all.
I hadn't really seen any previews or anything so was just thinking it was a regular film.
I was at first disappointed as I'm not a huge musical fan but I must say they really pulled it off.
I thought the film was good.
I'd put it up there with greese.
Cruise does an excellent portrayal of metal rocker.

I was a little let down. I was a huge hair metal fan and they would have done better IMO if they used the original artist on the songs.

I lived through the 70's and the 80's when tv had to redub pop hits with other singers, add in the cover bands I heard at parties clubs and wedddings this is not something i have any interest in seeing

I didn't get the chance to see it in theaters so I'll probably rent it.

I rented it tonight, and I'm sorry, I thought it sucked big time, as a matter of fact, I couldn't finish it, one of the worst movies I've seen in a while.

First of all, musicals are not my favorite movie genre.

Second, it featured two boring and bland leads, some big names there just for a paycheck, and it was pretty much a pointless production.

Bad kareoke, bad wigs, and the biggest misfire of all, why 80s rock music, when 60s and 70s rock blows that 80s stuff outta the water.

One star outta five.

I know this movie got trashed by the critics but I saw it in the theatre, really enjoyed it and look forward to seeing it again on DVD. Stacee Jaxx rules!

The movie was corny, silly, a cringe fest, I kept rolling my eyes, can't believe actors managed to keep a straight face throughout, I guess they are really good actors, really good, lol.

I thought it was Fantastic, for the Most part.
I don't care for Much Cruise ...., But He was Awesome as Stacee Jaxx ...
When he took the Stage for Pour Some Sugar on Me ...., it was really Fun.
And Julian Hugh was Frick'in Smok'in .

It's a Stupid Movie ...., but I had more Fun with it, than the Other 2 Movies this week.. Promethus, and Thats My Boy. I thought those 2 Movies Sucked.

Rock of Ages better than Prometheus...ROTFLMFAO....heck, even That's My Boy looked like an Academy Award Best Picture winner compared to Rock of Ages, lol.
