Another one I cannot turn away from when it is on --- Papillon with Steve McQueen and Dustin Hoffman.

        Superman (I, w/ Reeve).

The Man of Steel is not my favorite hero, but it's a nearly perfect super-hero movie IMO, and a great film in general.

Have to watch it every time I see it on TV:

"When not too many people can see we're all the same
And because of all their tears,
Their eyes can't hope to see
            The beauty that surrounds them
            Isn't it a pity".

            - "Isn't It A Pity"

I got around to watching this a few years ago. I grew up with Hogan's Heroes so imagine my surprise to see John Banner in the role of the guard. But very different from Schultz!

The list would be way too long!
I can rewatch good movies time and time again.

                    To pick one?
                    Let's say Army of Darkness!
                    .
                    .
                    .

I own all of the movies above (except The Waterboy), but I still stop and watch them. I don't tend to stop and watch the Super Hero movies on TV because I like to enjoy them in their entirety, without cuts and commercials. For some reason I lean towards comedies and westerns on movies I'll just stop and watch parts of.

As mentioned by others Shawshank is one and so is The Stand. The problem with The Stand is that is is something like 30 hours long.
