So What's at Your States Welcome Center?

At the Welcome Center on I-65 South coming into Alabama from Tennessee you'll find a rocket (since they are built at the Marshall Space Center in Huntsville, AL). I've always liked seeing it coming home from trips as it always used to let me know we were almost home (well, 4.5 hours anyway, lol). Is there anything special at any of your welcome centers? I know the ones along I-65 North since I travel that to Mego Meet and up to Michigan to visit relatives. The ones in Tennessee were rebuilt like log cabins, which I thought was a nice touch.

I live in walking distance to our state's welcome center.

It's basically a few toilets and a few venting machines

Unusual thing about ours is it has a canvas roof --- weird

The only Michigan Welcome Center I have ever stopped at was the one in St. Ignace. Apparently, the Yoopers think they live a different state, and thus we trolls need a welcome center after crossing the bridge.

I think all you get in ohio is a state trooper with radar. He could at least dress like officer Dangle...

I think the one on I-59 going into Georgia has one as well but it's been so long since I've been out that way I'm not 100% sure on that.

Lets see, 1 has a totem pole, 1 has a retired airforce jet, another gives away free donuts if you stop in the morning. MMMMMMM freee donuts.
Oh and the one on RT80 got busted for funny stuff going on in the bathrooms awhile back
