Which NFL quarterback should be benched?

Mark Sanchez -- he needs to be benched so he can clear his head and be ready to start again when Tim Tebow gets benched.

Matt Cassel -- since he is mediocre at best, surely the Chiefs were smart enough to have a solid backup who could step in and ... really? Brady Quinn? My god.

Brandon Weeden -- sometimes you have to sit older players down if they are unwilling to admit their skills have diminished.

Ryan Tannehill -- he's shown some flashes but his inexperience will put the Dolphins at 5-11 instead of their true potential of 6-10.

Ryan Fitzpatrick -- he is a turnover machine, plus it would be fun to fire a Harvard grad for incompetence.

Carson Palmer -- I'd vote for him in this poll every year if I could. No reason to stop now.

Michael Vick -- he is inconsistent, turnover prone and, in a league that is trying to cut down on injuries, it's best to bench him before he shatters.

Blaine Gabbert -- he cut his long hair and still stinks, there's nothing else to try.

Tony Romo -- the Internet says he is the worst quarterback in the NFL, and everything you read on the web is true. Plus his game last night...

Vick is still winning, Tannehill could easily be 3-1 if not for the kicker, Romo had one of the worst games I've seen but 2 picks weren't his fault,Palmer has no wr's, Fitz and Cassel aren't that bad

Gabbert, Weeden and Sanchez are the 3 worst

Tannehill, should not even be near that list. He's a rookie and that only played QB 1 1/2 in college. This kid is gonna be pretty damn good.

After last nights Cowboys debacle I can say that Romo should be benched. That is probably one of the worst games I've ever seen from a QB. I liked McGhee as the backup...but now it looks like Kyle Orton is Romo's backup. They don't have a 3rd stringer in the QB position. Orton is not that good. I'd leave Romo in and let him play out this season and then don't sign him. Look for a QB in the draft next year.

I am a diehard jet fan. Sanchez needs to be benched. He is horrible. I have given up on this season

Alex Smith is doing a fine job with the Niners, and I'm not even remotely suggesting that he should be benched, not in the least.

But Smith, while a soild QB, is just not elite.

I really like rookie Colin Kaepernick...the young man has showned a lot of poise, strong arm, and can run like nodody's business, he is in fact, the future of the Niners.
