Who else here is hooked on car programming on TV?

Aside from watching NFL, Boardwalk Empire, The Walking Dead, Dexter, Spartacus, movies...and some cooking shows here and there...the rest of my TV viewing are car stuff, I just can't stop watching them, lol.

Overhaulin' is coming back...I love Chip Foose.

I also watch hours and hours of the Mecum auto auctions, the Barret/Jackson auto auctions, Car Counting, What's Your Car Worth?, Chasing Classic Cars, Top Gear, Wheeler Dealers, reruns of American Hot Rod, West Coast Customs, Street Customs, Car Crazy, My Classic Car, Graveyard Carz, and on, and on, and on, lol.

    I'm hopeless...

The funny thing is that I don't watch races, not interested in Formula 1, NASCAR, IndyCar, or even Pinks...so I'm a contradiction, lol.

    Any of you like me?

P.S. I'm sick and tired of American Chopper...the same old garbage, and now Senior and Junior made up, and are building yet another boring bike together...plus Mikey is gone...the show is now super duper boring, I'm done with that show, lol.

At first, I had my doubts about Counting Cars...probably because of Danny "the Count" Koker's association with the Pawn Stars dudes...but after watching the entire season...it's really a fun show...and Danny has a cool personality...I love how he chases down drivers with cool cars...and offers to buy them right then and there...sometimes a sale does occur...but many times it does not...and his shop does really do nice work...and they are not as expensive as some might think...cool show.

That show is a wide world British institution...has been on and off the air since 1977...you can catch in on the BBC...

Jeremy Clarkson is a living legend (despite his disdain for American cars, lol)...

They have featured some of the biggest celebrities in the world...they get them to drive around a track in some economy car...and compare their times with other celebrities...

                    Mark Wahlberg...

                    Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz...

                    Jay Leno...

                    Simon Cowell...

                    Gordon Ramsey...

                    Roger Daltrey...

Top Gear is not without controversy...as they got in a pickle talking about a Mexican-built sports car...and started ranting on Mexicans altogether...I really didn't find it offensive...as I know they were joking, Top Gear is full of comedy...so it was OK by me, lol...

Jeremy Clarkson has a way with opinions, he's a big personalty and is funny as heck...that's why I love watching him...

Once you watch the immensely popular big-budget British version...you will never watch that little low-budget wannabe Top Gear American fellas again...

After seing those clips, it seems they are alittle more professional than the one on the History Channel. And wow they get big name stars, I mean Roger freakin Daltrey! It doesn't seem so sitcomish.

Yeah, the British Top Gear pulls all the stops.

There's room for the American version though, i have nothing against it, the hosts seem like good people.

the last 16 seasons of uk top gear are available to stream via netflix IT"S WAY Better than the us history channel version (basiaclly every challenge the brits arealdy did and several much cooler ones). for the us one I find raceboy and Rut anoying (actually I hate rut's work on Nascar roo) but I love it when Adam shows up is a 70's car (since we are about the same age)

                          I love some car shows
I am not a hot rod guy I am a keep her as she was born. Pimp my ride Chasing West Coast Customs, Street Customs, I am not a fan of. I Like overhaulin but what Chip does ain't my thing (as we watched it one time I specifccally told my Brother if you ever let that man near my tbird I will never forgive you) but FAST and Load is a can't miss for me I'll even sit through commercials and the social media relaod episodes) I can't get enough of Aaron and Richard

I have been Watching My Classic car for 20 years Denis is so quirky he's cool, not so much a fan of car crazy

wheeler dealers is ok, so was desert car kings I don't like chasing classic cars

I really liked Graveyard cars when they would show how the car died and get the original owner there but the shop owner whined way too much - is it even still in production

Counting cars is better than I expected but like Pawn stars I suspect it has that feeling of alot of staged reshoots. His prices seem aligned with my hot rod resto outfit.

I am glued to the tube on barret jackson weekends
