    That's too cool. GFY.
I would like everyone to know that I am a 'SBS'; Self-appointed, B-movie, Scientist. When it comes to science, yah, I know that. Well at least as much as this script demands.

Big Lots and Walgreens here are loaded with Halloween stuff. Even Dollar Tree is packed. Guess your Walgreens sucks.

My wife shakes her head because of my impulse to push buttons whenever we go somewhere. If a store has a wall of stuff like that I have to push them all and see how far they make a sound. LOL. Of course I like to push peoples buttons as well. Don't Judge me, it's a disease.

I live in Oakland. Even though the Walgreens near me isn't huge, it's a decent size. Since they've opened, they usually have a decent Halloween selection, but this year, it's just lacking. I just have a CVS pharmacy near me, which is just a dinky little store and doesn't do much for Halloween. I know I say this every year but I MISS WOOLWORTH!

Man I feel your pain, Every mid september theres a Party City here in town that would display there items different from other stores. It would have a haunted house kind of feel! They moved the store to a smaller location and it just isn't the same just seems like the same boring stuff. I really miss the old days....like ben cooper.

And Woolworth's. One thing really grabbed my wife this year at 'Spirit' They have tall ceramic cups sculpted as character heads. I looked through them and nothing stood out. Later we are standing together in front of the display, and she pulls up the Zombie design. I said, 'didn't see that one' as I search the display for another. It was the last one.

You should really get a car, Sharry...you could go to Halloween Spirit Store in Alameda...

Alameda is really big on Halloween...much more so than Oakland.

BTW, I know what you mean by missing Woolworth, that was an awesome store, I really loved its 50s diner...and the overall old school feel of the store.

I also miss Montgomery Ward's...and the old Sears...today's Sears sucks though.

You were not in the Bay Area here in the 70s...but we had other other awesome stores back in the day...GEMCO was the store to go for everything Mego...those were the days, sigh.
