    Andy Williams RIP

Granted, not the music most members will have on their phones, but his Christmas Specials were a big part of my childhood holidays, and how he & his family performed them went a long way toward defining just how America came to associate Christmas & family gatherings. A terrific voice, smooth & melodic.

And if not for Andy Williams, we'd never have had Donny & Marie!

    RIP, Mr. W.

I will always associate Andy Williams with good Christmas memories. His Christmas album (I think his first) was among my Mom's favorites, and one of the first to hit the player every year. "Wonderful Time of the Year" is my favorite secular Christmas song, and it has to be by him.

A great voice, and he entertained us for a good long while.

If your a musician and you want your music to live on forever, record a memorable Christmas song. It's The Most Wonderful Time and Do You Hear What I Hear will always make an appearance around the Holidays and Andy's voive will live on and on.

RIP Andy...I remember the Christmas specials as well. Not only a great musician but a great mentor as well to the Osmond Family as well his nephews, Andy and David.

Will definitely be missed in my neck of the woods. Branson, MO owes him a debt of gratitude and won't be the same without him. What a wonderful legacy to leave.
