I hope he's okay...the joy his creations and co-creations have given me over the years is immeasurable. His is the only celebrity death that will devastate me. I've never even met the man, but I love him anyway.

The guy has probably been overdoing it. Most people his age are lucky to get up and go the bathroom by themselves. Hopefully a little R&R is all that is needed. Hang in there Stan.

that sucks but... on a high note, one things for sure; he is one of the few people to ever grace the planet that can know for certaint that his efforts brought a whole lot of joy and his name is one that will NEVER be forgotten. Get well soon Stan.

If all is well, Stan should do a little youtube video to ease fans concerns. Of course, the serious circumstance might be the death or health issue of aomeone close to him rather than himself which would also explain him being scarce.

When I saw him earlier in the year at the Chicago Comic Con. he was in good spirits, but looked so old and frail, I couldn't believe he still has the energy to do conventions. Those things wear the hell out of me, and I am only 40. I really hope all is well with him.
