Yup, good deal on the Megos. Seems like they've been on nearly every episode so far. You guys seeing this reflected on eBay? Or is still too much of a niche market

He didn't over pay for those 12" Batman and Robin figures? Not to mention over charge a bit by asking a grand for the pair?

He's a dealer of course be over charged - what still surprises me is a collector who will sell to a dealer rather than give ebay a shot

Missed when he acquired the magnetic Batman/Robin Mego's. What did he pay for them? Got $1000 and valued them at $13-1400. Two recently just sold on ebay, MIB Batman for $299.95 Robin MIB $228.06 of course these were not signed by Adam West!

People sell to dealers because it's easier. eBay can be a big hassle, especially if you work 9-5 and s

I can honestly say I didn't know about the Mattel Batman ride-on. First time I'd ever seen that.

He had the modern Corgi cars on a previous show and went ape for them both times. Are they really worth that much?

Nice to see the Megos. I'd have paid $50 all day long for that Ideal Batcave. Seemed like he really hosed that guy on that one.

                    Yeah.

I love when the guy said $100 for all those boxed Megos and Jordan was like, "I'll give you $200...there worth more than that".

OK, we all have a guilty in us, but HOW often does that happen?

My big question is, if you contacted a dealer to sell, or he contacted you, why wouldn't you do some online research about the current going price of the more important items you had to sell at least? I know that Jordan has to educate the audience, but it does make the collector seem kind of dense and uninformed in many cases.

I still enjoy watching it though. Its' fun to see the toys, and Jordan is a likeable enough guy, especially compared to many reality TV hosts.

A lot of people have sold me stuff fully aware of the fact they were selling it for much cheaper.

I've bought many very large collections for REALLY cheap considering what was in them. Because they were so large, the people just didn't have the time to research everything, list it, ship it, etc.

I hate all these kind of shows. Only hurt the hobby. Ebay was first to drive prices up and now all the shows. It used to be fun going to yard sales and flea markets and finding deals. Now all I here is," I just saw one sell on ebay for a >>>>>>" or "Just saw it on toy show for ........." Most of these shows are fake, staged for tv watchers. I always tell the people if they want that much then they better put it on Ebay or call Pickers. Enough said !!

That is my problem with it too. Going out to hunt for stuff is not fun anymore. I've been going to the same Flea Market for over 10 years now and I don't even want to go anymore. Same with estate/garage sales. These slobs out there want the absolute top dollar eBay price, but they don't even want to take 5 minutes of their time to at least try to clean up what they have.

But all these people will wise up when they can't find anyone to pay them their asking prices.

I haven't even been putting my wanted ad up on CL because it's being flagged every two minutes by these newcomers.

My craiglist ads get flagged to. There is a few other toy people in the area that get mine flagged, then their ads pop up. Every once in a blue moon I will get a call from a seller from CL with something to buy. Word of mouth seems to be the best way now.
