This kid, Kyle that I used to babysit, his auntie bought him one (and this is when they were PINK). He loved to cook, just like his mom. Well, I saw a 16 box refill at TRU, so I bought it for him, and we made cakes and brownies when I came over.

I got the Mego 12" Wonder Woman for my birthday one year. I had to be under 5. Even then, I knew this was clearly a girls toy. She was WAY more girly than my other Mego figures. I don't recall ever playing with her much. I borrowed her coat and glasses to make my 8" Mego Superman into Clark Kent.

I wasn't above borrowing my older sister's Charlie's Angels dolls for a Mego Batman rescue, and her doll house for Wayne Manor, but it was another thing to OWN an actual girl doll.

No embarrassment here. I did have "boy" toys, like 2 AJs, 1 Big Jack, an SSP mini Citgo car, Matchbox cars, a fire engine, a double decker bus, 2 London guard dolls, Lincoln Logs, a speedboat for the bathtub, a cap gun, and a machine gun that made noise and drove my mom nuts!

I was too embarrassed to buy any of the female WGSH or ask anyone to buy them for me, and I wanted a Batgirl really badly. I remember standing around the toy isle for hours once, just trying to muster up the courage to buy her. To this day, I still don't own a Batgirl and it's one of my absolute favorite MEGOs.

I had a Ken. He was a gift from a great Aunt who was very nice but didn't have kids and had no clue what gifts to get.

Dolls are one thing but girl action figures are more meh meaning a lot of boys had them... especially females figures in a male dominated line like Johnny West or WGSH's

I'm thinking - but I'm not sure I had any I was ashamed of. NOT because I think all my toys would have been considered cool - but because I was probably way too clueless to know any better.
