Here are my thoughts.. I signed on to ebay about 90 minutes ago to list something - the first thing I've sold in many months. I hit the SELL button after signing-in, and.... nothing. The browser just hangs and hangs and no page resolves. I keep trying for the next 20 minutes.. nothing. Then I tried to go to the ebay discussion forums to see if there might be talk of a problem, and when I click on the forums.. error! Can't go to that page.

I gave up after 30 minutes.

Do all logos have to be totally generic now?

I don't have anything for sale at the moment. My ebay page is pretty blank. Logo looks same to me, what am I missing?

It's funny how they keep trying to re-enforce the fact that the majority of their items are new and at fixed prices now. They want to be like Amazon so much that it's kind of sad.

They're different today because they use to be the only act in town. Now, due to poor buyer/seller protection, high fees, and a general disinterest in staying engaged with the customer their second fiddle in the industry. Getting rich made them complacent. Now they want their logo to feel more "corporate" like them - Sterile, detached, and unoriginal.

Ok, link works for me now, thanks Megoat. And I agree with Chris, this is the first thing I noticed when looking it over. They want it to just be NEW and BIN. Less hassle for them and they still get the fees. Isn't this what the purpose of Half.com was? What ever happened to that?
